Syftet med studien Àr att undersöka Pro-anorexia (Pro-ana) bilders pÄverkan pÄ kvinnor jÀmfört med vedertagna modellbilders pÄverkan. Blir kvinnor mer pÄverkade av att titta pÄ extremt smala kvinnor Àn av att titta pÄ "normala" smala modeller? En experimentell mellangruppsdesign, med 42 kvinnor frÄn Lunds universitet anvÀndes. Den pÄverkan som mÀttes var matproblematik, tjockkÀnsla, idealkropp, sjÀlvförtroende och affekter. Pro-anafilmer, modellfilmer och kontrollfilmer anvÀndes som stimulimaterial.

Relationships between defence mechanisms and body movements were investigated in regard to three hypothesis; I. that a difference in frequency of body movements correlates to different signs of defence mechanisms, II. that themes of body movements can be identified in regard to signs of defence mechanisms, III. that no significant differences will be found between the different groups of gender. The aim of the study was to seek a relation between quasicommunicative body movements and defence mechanisms.

Systemutveckling Àr en komplicerad process som krÀver mycket av det företag som utvecklingsarbetet bedrivs i. För att anvÀndare till systemet skall kunna anvÀnda systemet pÄ ett effektivt sÀtt krÀvs det att systemet uppfyller anvÀndarnas krav. Detta leder till att de behöver delta i utvecklingsarbetet samt fÄ tillfÀlle till att pÄverka i beslutsfattandet. Detta arbete undersöker hur och pÄ vilka sÀtt som anvÀndare deltar i traditionell och experimentell systemutveckling. I samband med denna undersökning har intervjuer med personer frÄn sex IT-företag utförts för att faststÀlla vilka uppfattningar och syner företagen har pÄ dessa tvÄ systemutvecklingsansatser.

Vilken betydelse har en arbetssökandes etnicitet och beslutsunderlagets diagnosticitet (informationskvalitet) för en granskarens benÀgenhet att rekommendera anstÀllning? 172 studenter fick lÀsa en utskrift frÄn en anstÀllningsintervju och skatta hur pass anstÀllbar den arbetssökande (svensk eller utlÀndsk) var utifrÄn den information som erhölls (diagnostisk eller ickediagnostisk). Hypotesen om att sÀmre information om den sökandes personlighetsegenskaper medför lÀgre skattad anstÀllningslÀmplighet för sökande med invandrarbakgrund (p.g.a. av negativa stereotyper) men inte för svenskar kunde inte bekrÀftas. In this thesis, it is investigated if it is possible to create a common factor of the work tasks done by an air traffic controller, which then can measure workload. This will lead to the development of a tool to measure workload at small airports. In the research project a questionnaire is created to measure the different tasks an air traffic controller has. The same questionnaire will also measure the number of environmental factors that exists around the air traffic controller. To measure the validity of the questionnaire, the authors are using NASA-TLX.

The purpose of this paper is to study the connection between Taoism and analytical psychology. This is done by descriptive text analysis of post-jungian literature. Often mentioned when searching for the inspirations and influences on analytical psychology we find references to alchemy, Buddhism, Gnosticism, Hinduism and the hermetic tradition. Processing information in complex everyday life recruites different abilities than limited storage capacity. Working memory, the central executive and inhibition are constructs that have been used to describe this ability of adaptation. This paper investigates the connection between working memory capacity and performances in tasks closely associated to real life situations, i. e. verbal fluency tasks.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between locus of control and behavior in a work group. The investigation was performed using two methods, self-report and observation, which were used in order to provide a description of how the individuals experienced their own behavior in a group context as well as of how they actually could be observed to behave. The 31 participants were divided into five groups. During the procedure each group received a task, which was to be discussed and solved by the group members together. Observations were carried out using IPA.

A two-factor design of experiments done on GGAB for the identification of two selected factors influence on the length of the scattering of heat exchanger gaskets. The work consists of four parts: study, choice of survey method, the performance of investigation and analysis of the results. I denna studie undersöktes hur feedback pÄverkar tillförlitligheten i Àldre ögonvittnens konfidens- och frekvensbedömningar, d.v.s. realismen i deras vittnesmÄl. Detta skedde genom ett experiment med 35 deltagare som vid ett tillfÀlle fick se ett kort hÀndelseförlopp pÄ film. Deltagarna delades sedan in i tvÄ grupper (experimentgrupp och kontrollgrupp) och fick vid ett andra tillfÀlle fylla i ett frÄgeformulÀr med 42 frÄgor rörande hÀndelseförloppet. Experimentgruppen erhöll tvÄ typer av feedback (stödjande och icke-stödjande), som var konstruerad information om vad en annan deltagare hade svarat.Vid bedömningen av enskilda frÄgor visade bÄda grupperna överkonfidens, men experimentgruppen visade högre överkonfidens vid stödjande feedback Àn vid icke-stödjande feedback.

In this essay I have looked more closely at different means of grinding wood prior to the mass production and total dominance of the sandpaper in recent times as there is virtually no information to be found about this. I have also done a few replicas of how early sandpapers might have looked and as a part of creating these replicas I have also tested diffrent types of early glues. The conclusion of it all is that all the alternative grinding materials tested workd virtually as well as modern sandpaper, with some reservations. And the replicas, although rough, worked mostly well despite being constructed with simplicity in mind. This indicates that an artisan could easily construct sandpapers if he so wished..

This paper has two parts. In the first part we analyse the Swedish translation of KIMS and we compare it with the American version that Baer and colleagues developed(Baer et al, 2004). Our focus is the factor structure, internal consistency, scale correlations and validity in relation to the already validated translation of the MAAS. The second part has three issues: Does a group of relatives to persons with borderline personality disorder differ from a group of university employees with respect to different aspects of mindfulness? What are the correlations between KIMS and the symptom measure BSI-GSI for the group of relatives? Has the Family Connections program had any effect on the degree of mindfulness for the group of relatives? 123 university employees answered the KIMS questionnaire.

Syftet med föreliggande studie var att undersöka effekten av en dos mindfulness session pÄ 45 minuter och dess relation till: (1) UpprÀtthÄllandet av uppmÀrksamhetsförmÄgan, (2) exekutiv uppmÀrksamhetsförmÄga samt (3) perceptuell förmÄga. En experimentell studie genomfördes pÄ idrottare (n=48) som uppfyllde sÀrskilda krav för att fÄ ingÄ i studien.
